Continuing to peck away at my build. The kids are heading to the grandparents for a week starting on the 26th, and then I'll have a few days to spend in the garage guilt-free. Hopefully, my new 300mm aluminum dome will arrive soon. Budget is currently blown out. I'll have to wait until Spring's tax return to make any purchases on the lights, motors, and detail bits. Going to see about scratchbuilding as much of the details as possible. I am hoping to have the droid almost fully assembled by Spring, and then spend the summer testing and installing motors and electronics. Fall 2011 looks like painting and final testing.
